New Government and the OSPG

The OSPG is under the mandate of the Ministry of Attorney General. BC’s new government was sworn in on November 26, 2020 and Minister David Eby was confirmed as the returning Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Housing. Also of note, the responsibility for the Architects Act was officially moved from the Ministry of Advanced Education to the Ministry of Attorney General and the oversight of the OSPG. Work will continue with the Architectural Institute of BC on their transition from their current act to designation under the PGA.
